Ellen, Bryan, Megan & Kyle welcome you to our website.
Things have definitely settled down. The Hilbrichters had a relatively quiet January. Ellen / Megan's soccer team was eliminated relatively early from State Cup tournament play in the first weekend, so their season ended. Unfortunately, try-outs have been pushed up to early March, so Ellen won't be getting much of an off-season.
Baseball season is starting, and Kyle was drafted onto the major Angels. His first game is on March 8th. (click here to see the schedule)
Near the end of February we finally had a chance to visit the yert of our friends Heather, Mike, and Stuart. They have a nice little 160 acre parcel up near Kirkwood. There's no real road, so in the winter, you have to ski in (I guess you could snowmobile, but where's the fun in that ;) about two hours. After the ski, there's a wonderful prize waiting. A warm and cozy yert, with a great view, wonderful sledding hill and lots of places to ski to. They even have their own bear, but luckily we didn't get to meet it.
